Sabudana Vada

Crispy Crunchy And Yummy 🙂 Usually a deep fried dish but today a healthy twist to the recipe with less oil

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups soaked sabudana (3-4 hours)
  • 1 Boiled potato
  • 3 Tablespoon roasted peanut powder
  • 2 Tablespoon sooji/ rice flour
  • Chopped cilantro
  • 2 Chopped green chilly
  • 2 Garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 Slice chopped ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon cummins
  • 1 Tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 Tablespoon kashmiri red chilly powder
  • 1/2  Tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 Tablespoon oil
  • Salt

Recipe:
Step 1-  Soak sabudana for 3-4 hours and boil potato and mash it
Step 2- Roast peanut and grind in a mixer coarsely
Step 3- Mix soaked sabudana, mashed potato,peanut powder and all the spices mentioned above.
Step 4- Add sooji/ rice flour and oil to the mixture to make the vada crisp
Step 5- Make equal size vada from the mixture and brush oil on vada
Step 6- Preheat oven at 400ºF and place vada on a tray and let it cook for 30mins and turn the vada and let it cook again for 15mins
Step 7- Turn off the oven and Serve

Serve hot with coconut-peanut chutney 🙂
