I still remember those days when I used to eat Aloo patties outside the school and it used to be so yummm 🙂 Tried my hands on Aloo-Patties..Not the same as those days but Good 😛 🙂 You can try it 😉 Simple yet Delicious 🙂
Ingredients:
For patties sheet:
- 2 Cup all purpose flour
- Butter
- Salt
- Baking soda
- Cold water
For Filling:
- 2 Boiled potato
- 1 Cup green peas
- 1/2 Chopped onion
- 2 Chopped green chillies
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 4-5 Curry leaves
- 1/2 Tablespoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 Tablespoon cumin & coriander powder
- 1/2 Tablespoon garam masala
- 1 Tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 Tablespoon red chilly powder
- Salt
- Butter
Recipe:
Step 1- Mix all purpose flour, salt, pinch of baking soda and butter in a bowl and then slowly mix cold water to make soft dough. Keep aside for 20mins.
Step 2- Heat butter in a pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves
Step 3- Add chopped chillies and onions. Fry till onions turn golden brown
Step 4- Add cumin, turmeric, red chilly powder, garam masala and salt
Step 5- Add green peas and fry for 2mins on medium flame
Step 6- Add mashed boiled potato and mix well and squeeze lemon
Step 7- Turn off the flame and keep aside
Step 8- Now start making the patties sheet. Make four folds of the dough for at least 4-5 times. Every time you fold the dough apply butter/oil
Step 9- Cut the sheet into square and start filling it in whatever shape you want and apply butter on top
Step 10- Pre-heat oven at 425ºF and keep the puffed patties for 25-30mins

You can serve it with evening tea 🙂
