Sabudana Khichdi

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Sabudana
  • 1/2 Cup peanut
  • 1 Boiled potato
  • 1 Tbsp cumin seeds
  • 2-3 Chopped green chilies
  • 5-6 Curry leaves
  • 1/2 Tbsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 Chopped onion
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • Salt

Recipe:

Step 1- Soak sabudana for 3-4 hours or overnight as per requirement and Drain the water properly

Step 2- Roast peanut in a pan and let it cool for sometime

Step 3- Make coarse powder from roasted peanuts and Mix well in soaked sabudana

Step 4- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Then add green chilies, curry leaves and grated ginger, fry for 2mins

Step 5- Add mashed potatoes and mix well

Step 6- Now add sabudana and salt, fry until sabudana becomes golden brown

Step 7- Add chopped coriander leaves, chopped onion and squeeze lemon and serve
