“Pasta” A dish which can be prepared in 1000 of ways. I have tried many pasta dishes but I prefer Desi Style Pasta over all other pasta recipes 😉
When you are craving for something spicy and looking for some quick and easy recipe, go for it. It can be prepared under 25mins.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup pasta
- 3 Cups of water for boiling pasta
- 1 Chopped green capsicum
- 1 Chopped onion
- 1 Chopped tomato
- 1 Chopped green chili
- 2 Chopped garlic cloves
- 1 Slice ginger
- 1 Tsp red chili powder
- 1 Tsp cumin seeds
- Salt as required
- 2 Tbsp olive oil/ any other cooking oil
- 1/2 Tsp oregano
- 1/2 Tsp pizza seasoning
- 1/2 Tsp crushed basil leaves (optional)
Recipe:
Step 1- Boil water in a pan and add 1/2 tsp salt. Add pasta and boil as per the package instructions. Wash with cold water, drain it and keep aside
Step 2- Heat oil in a pan/ kadhai and add cumin seeds and let it sizzle for a minute then add green chili and chopped ginger-garlic. Sauté for 30secs
Step 3- Add chopped onions and fry till translucent then add chopped tomato and capsicum and fry till half cooked
Step 4- Add red chili powder, salt as required (remember pasta is already boiled with salt) and add boiled pasta. Mix well
Step 5- Turn off the flame. Season with oregano, crushed basil leaves and pizza seasoning
Serve hot and enjoy your desi style pasta 😉 🙂
