Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 1 Large onion
- 1/2 Cup gram flour/ besan
- 2 Tbsp rice flour (optional)
- 2 Chopped green chilies
- 1 Tsp grated ginger
- 2 Tbsp chopped coriander leaves (optional)
- 1 Tsp ajwain/ carom seeds
- Salt as required
- Oil for deep frying
Recipe:
Step 1- Slice onion thinly and add chopped green chilies, grated ginger, chopped coriander leaves, ajwain, salt, rice flour and gram flour in a bowl and mix them
Step 2- Keep the mixture aside for 5-10mins. Add 2-3 tbsp of water to make a moist dough
Do not add more water because onion will also release moisture
Step 3- Heat oil in a deep pan/ kadhai on high flame and take small portions of mixture and fry them until cooked
Remove on kitchen towel and serve with Masala Chai 🙂
