Everybody would be busy in preparing sweets, namkeens etc etc for Diwali. So to start with I made dry fruits laddoo. Dry fruits laddoo is the easiest sweet to prepare. A Festival sweet that can be prepared within minutes.
Serves 4-5
Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup mixed dry fruits
  • 1/2 Cup grated jaggery
  • 3-4 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1/4tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 1tbsp ghee

Recipe:
Step 1- Grind dry fruits coarsely in a mixer jar and keep aside

Step 2- Heat a pan and add grated jaggery and 2tbsp of water and melt it on low flame. When it starts melting add cinnamon powder

Step 3- Let the jaggery syrup boil on low flame until you get a thick consistency. To check whether the syrup is ready or not add a drop of syrup in a glass of water and check
If you are able to roll it into a soft ball the jaggery syrup is ready. Add nuts and salt to jaggery syrup and mix well. Turn off the flame

Step 4- Apply some water on both your palms and start making small laddoos. Roll the laddoos in grated coconut

Dry fruits laddoos are ready
