Papdi Chaat is something you can make at your home very easily with ingredients which are already available at home. You can either buy Papdi from outside or make at home.
Recipe for Papdi: Baked PapdiPapdi(Deep fried)
Other than this you need boiled chickpeas and potato, mint-coriander chutney, tamarind chutney/sauce. These are available at stores but I prefer to make them at home.
See below the step by step recipe with pictures.
Serves 2
Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup boiled chickpeas
  • 1 Small boiled potato
  • 10-12 Papdis
  • 1/2 Tbsp sweet yogurt (1/2 cup yogurt+ 1 Tbsp sugar)
  • 4-5 Tbsp mint-coriander chutney
  • 4-5 Tbsp tamarind chutney
  • 2 Tbsp chopped onion
  • Chaat masala
  • Red chili powder
  • Salt as required

Recipe:
Step 1- Soak the chickpeas overnight or 6-7hours. In a pressure cooker add chickpeas, potato and 1tsp salt and pressure cook for 1 whistle. Let the pressure goes completely.Peel and chop the potato into small cubes

Step 2- In a serving plate break the papdis into half or put as it is and add some boiled chickpeas and potato cubes. Add some chopped onion, green chili, mint-coriander chutney and tamarind chutney

Step 3-  Sprinkle some salt and then spread sweet yogurt, namkeen sev and sprinkle chaat masala and red chili powder

Enjoy the Papdi Chaat with your Masala Chai
