The festive season never ends for Indians. 😀 Every day, every week, every month there will be something to celebrate. 😉 Every state, religion has its own festival and each festival is different from one another but one thing which is common in all the festivals? Yeah, you guessed right…It’s SWEETS! No celebration can be complete without sweets. 😀 Although I am not fond of sweets, Milk Peda? Oh, I don’t count Peda in sweets. 😛 They are my favorite. ❤
My mom makes very taste milk pedas using whole milk. Well, that requires so much of patience and time. Though time I can manage but, Patience? That’s little difficult. 😛 So I decided to make these pedas with condensed milk. I remember once my mom made around 50 of these milk pedas to send to my dad as he was out of town for almost 60days for official work. And I ate almost more than half of them even before my mom could put them in the box. 😛 What Happened Next??? Well, she made another batch of pedas (obviously after scolding me 😛 )…Mother’s are like that ❤
Traditionally milk pedas are made using whole milk or khoya. However, I made using this instant recipe. So let’s celebrate this festive season with this mouth-watering Instant Milk Peda.

Step 1- In a large microwave-safe bowl take condensed milk, milk powder, and ghee. Mix and make sure there are no lumps. Microwave for one minute on high

Step 2- Mix green cardamom powder and nutmeg powder and again microwave for 2mins. If the mixture still looks a bit liquid then microwave for few more seconds. Check in between. Mixture should thicken after microwave

Leave the mixture for 2-3mins to cool. When the mixture is still warm, shape it into balls
Step 3- Apply some ghee/ oil in palms and roll the mixture into small balls and press in the centre to give the shape of the peda. You can also use the peda mould if you have them. Press any dry nut in the center if you like

Let the pedas cool down to room temperature and then they are ready to consume. 🙂
