Now that the summer and Cherry season is here, it’s time to make something with fresh cherries. What’s better than cool cherry drink! Summer drinks help in beating the scorching heat and keep your body cool and refreshed.
I have a bag full of fresh cherries and want to use it before it gets spoiled. Well, I can finish them all by eating as it is, though this time I want to use them in some new and interesting recipes. I was looking for a refreshing drink recipe with cherries and after going through so many recipes I just closed the laptop and decided to make our very own Desi Panna, Cherry Panna! 😀 Do try this cherry Panna, it is refreshing, cool, and helps to beat the heat. You are going to love this refreshing Cherry Panna. You can add sparkling water in the place of regular water and enjoy the drink.

- 1 Cup fresh cherries, deseeded and halved
- 2-3 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tsp black salt
- 1 Tsp chaat masala
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice

Step 1- Boil 2 cups water in a saucepan and add the brown sugar and black salt. When the water comes to a boil add the cherries
Step 2- Let it simmer for 20mins on medium-low flame or until the cherries turn soft and mushy. Turn off the flame after 20mins and let the mixture cool down completely
Step 3- With the help of a spoon mash the cherries and the water through a sieve over a large bowl
Step 4- Take 2 glass, add 2-3 ice-cubes in each glass and the prepare Panna. Add sparkling water or regular water as required. Add chaat masala and lemon juice. Stir and serve
