Hariyali Paneer Tikka, bursting with flavors of coriander-mint chutney, curd, and spices is a delicious and popular snack which is served with onion rings and lemon wedges as a party appetizer. Hariyali Paneer Tikka, as the name says, paneer is marinated using a green paste which is nothing but the mint-coriander chutney. The color of the chutney will depend upon the freshness and quantity of mint and coriander used. To get the more greenish color you can also add palak puree.
Paneer Tikka is my favorite vegetarian snack and I have prepared Paneer Tikkas so many times that I wanted to try something different, but with Paneer Tikka only.
I was planning to prepare some yummy snack for our Friday evening snack and luckily, I had all the ingredients and leftover from mint-coriander chutney in hand. What’s a better way to use Paneer other than preparing some tongue-tickling Paneer Tikka, that too for people like us who always love to indulge in a delicious snack?
Use the leftover Green chutney to prepare Hariyali Paneer Tikka or prepare a fresh one using this recipe of green chutney. While preparing green chutney, use green chilies to make it hot and skip adding red chili powder.
The preparation of Hariyali Paneer Tikka consists of 2 main parts- marinating paneer and veggies with the marination masala and then grilling or baking the marinated paneer and veggies. This is a very easy and fuss-free recipe. Marinate the paneer a day before and grill the next day, serve warm to your family and friends.

- ½ Lbs paneer (226gms), cut into cubes
- 1 Small red capsicum, cut into cubes
- 1 Small green capsicum, cut into cubes
- 1 Small onion, cut into cubes
- 1/3 Cup thick curd
- 1/3 cup green chutney
- 1 Tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 Tbsp coriander powder
- ½ Tsp garam masala
- 1 Tsp black salt
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- Salt as required
- 1 Tbsp mustard oil

Step 1- In a large mixing bowl, take all the ingredients except paneer, onion, and capsicums. Mix well using a spoon
Step 2- Add the cubed paneer, onion, and capsicums. Marinate and refrigerate for 1-2hr or more
Step 3- Preheat oven to 475º. Meanwhile, line a baking tray and arrange the marinated paneer, capsicum, and onion on skewers. Spray cooking oil. Place the baking tray in the heated oven and bake for 6-8mins or until the paneer turns slightly brown on the edges.
Remove the tray from the oven. Serve warm with lemon wedges and chutney
