My most favorite recipe to cook with Paneer is, Paneer Tikka. ALWAYS! And this is the first thing that comes to my mind whenever I think of trying anything with Paneer.
I, and the dear husband loves Paneer Tikka. One fine morning, I hurriedly cook breakfast and it was Paneer Tikka Sandwich, we both totally loved it.
Here, I am sharing Paneer Tikka Sub-Sandwich with multigrain bread and Tandoori Mayonnaise from FunFoods brand. This mayo is totally worth the price. The flavor it brings to the Sandwich is just amazing.

Serves 4
Ingredients:
- Paneer 250gms, cut into slices
- 1/2 Cup hung curd
- 1 Tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 Tbsp Tandoori masala
- 1 Tsp garam masala
- 1 Tsp Kasuri methi
- 1/4 Tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- Salt as required
- 1 Tsp lime juice
- 1 Tsp mustard oil
- 2 Tbsp butter, for grilling the paneer
For Sub-Sandwich
- 4 Multigrain Sub bread
- Mint-coriander chutney
- Tandoori mayo spread
- Tomato ketchup (optional)
- Sliced onion rings
- Bell pepper julians
- Lettuce leaves (optional)
Let’s learn step by step recipe with pictures for Paneer Tikka Sub-Sandwich
Recipe:
Step 1- Mix all the marination ingredients (except paneer) in a bowl . Coat paneer with the prepared marination
Heat butter in a skillet, and grill the paneer slices from both the sides until you see golden spots



Step 2- Add the onion rings and bell peppers to the leftover marination. In the same skillet pan, gently toss them for a minute


Step 3- Take one half of the sub bread and spread green chutney. Place the paneer slice and top it up with the fried onion and bell peppers
Take another half of the bread and apply tandoori mayo. Place the bread over the sandwich keeping the mayo side down

Grill the sandwich in a sandwich grill or in the pan. Serve warm and enjoy.
