Watermelon Lemonade

It’s summer! And it’s watermelon season. Watermelon is a low-calorie, hydrating fruit, act as an antioxidant, and fight inflammation. From drinks, salads, main dish, to desserts, there are plenty of recipes to eat watermelon.

Sweet and tangy, this watermelon lemonade will quench your thirst on this hot summer day. It’s refreshing, thirst quenching,  soothing, and soul-satisfying summer drink. Make this summer cool drink for your next potluck, pool party, or a weekend get-together.
Serves 2

  • 2 Heaped cup watermelon cubes, seedless
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tsp black salt or more
  • 2 Tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 6-8 Ice cubes

In a blender jar, take ½cup water, watermelon cubes, lemon juice, sugar and black salt. Blend to a smooth puree. Pour the drink through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl. Stir in 2 ½ cups of chilled or cold water and pour into the mason jars. Add the ice-cubes and serve immediately
