Amritsari Paneer Tikka

Amritsari Paneer Tikka is a very quick Paneer starter/ Snack recipe which is very close to Paneer Pakoda and Paneer Tikka recipe.
All you need is handful of spices, gram flour, and paneer. Here you don’t need curd to marinade the paneer. This recipe just takes 20-30mins and your Amritsari Paneer Tikka is ready.

Serves 3-4

  • 250 Gms paneer cubes
  • 4 Tbsp gram flour
  • 1 Tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 Tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 Tsp carom seeds
  • 1/4 Tsp garam masala
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 green chili sliced
  • 1/2 Cup sliced onion
  • 1/4 Cup sliced bell pepper
  • Salt as required
  • Oil

Step 1- In a bowl take gram flour and add turmeric powder, red chili powder, carom seeds, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, salt and 1/4 cup water and mix well. Make sure there are no lumps formed. Add more water if required. Batter should not be too thin or too thick

Step 2- Add paneer cubes and lime juice. Mix well and keep aside

Step 3- Heat oil in a pan and fry green chili, sliced onion and bell pepper on high flame till half cooked. Add 1/2 tsp salt and remove in a plate

Step 4- In the same pan add 1tbsp oil and place them on pan and when the base becomes golden and crisp cook from another side until golden and crisp and serve with half fries veggies
